Dilan Hosseinpour, Esq.
Prior to law, Ardalan “Dilan” Hosseinpour began his career at an early age working for several renown architectural firms and construction companies in the greater Atlanta area. He received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Construction Management from Southern Polytechnic State University, where he graduated with the highest honors and received several accolades and awards for his achievements in the construction industry. As a building designer and contractor, he managed over 100 residential and commercial buildings ranging from $300k to $40 million. Mr. Hosseinpour was involved in a wide array of public sector projects including educational, recreational, transportation, and institutional. In addition, he managed the design and construction of various residential and private commercial projects, including senior retirement communities, hospitality, retail, office buildings, religious buildings, and medical facilities.
After spending the first 10 years of his career in construction and architecture, Mr. Hosseinpour recognized the need for legal representatives who are familiar with the technical aspects of the industry, and pursued law for the sole purpose of practicing construction and real estate law. Mr. Hosseinpour moved to San Diego, where he attended California Western School of Law and received his Juris Doctorate degree with a concentration in Intellectual Property, Telecommunications, and Technology Regulation.
Mr. Hosseinpour has worked for one of the largest firms in California, as well as two other renown civil litigation firms in San Diego, primarily practicing construction law, employment law, and insurance law. Since then, he has dedicated his practice to the representation of general contractors, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, developers, and other businesses and professionals. Mr. Hosseinpour has defended several claims asserted against various stakeholders in the construction industry, including matters arising out of construction defects, design defects, indemnity and coverage issues, subrogation, catastrophic injuries, employment and workers’ compensation claims, premises liability, and real estate disputes. In addition, he serves as general counsel to several companies, providing business formation services, as well as counseling directors, officers, and managers on everyday business activities and start-up requirements, including employment guidelines, intellectual property, and business and professional licensing.
Devoted to his field, Mr. Hosseinpour founded Design-Build Law in 2014.
