We represented an architecture firm to negotiate an hourly rate-based fee AIA Document B102–2017, Agreement Between Owner and Architect without a Predefined Scope of Architect’s Services, for architectural services related to fire, water, and smoke damage repairs to three floors of an existing apartment building. The project scope includes matching the original construction for the specified areas, with the architect having no responsibility for pre-existing conditions outside the designated repair zones.
