We represented an architecture firm to negotiate an Owner-Architect Agreement with a $340,000 fee for the design of a roughly $4 million renovation of a historic museum building to house a special library collection. The design, inspired by the building’s historic architecture and the work of renowned early-20th-century architects, features a central reading room with exhibition space, flexible study areas, and a multi-story interconnected library. The agreement covered full design services, from schematic design through construction administration, and addressed key terms indicated to be important in the institutional owner’s Request for Proposal (RFP).
