Illinois has been home to Jeremy Baker’s legal career from the beginning. Every law firm he has worked with has been based in Chicago or had its Chicago office as his base, and over the past two decades, he has litigated in more than a dozen venues across the state. Much of that experience has unfolded in the Law Division and Chancery Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County, particularly in the Mechanics Lien Section of the Chancery Division, where he has represented clients in countless disputes. Jeremy has also taught at what is now the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, adding teaching experience to his deep courtroom work. The firm requires every lawyer to sit for the Illinois bar exam, underscoring that this is a Chicago practice first.
We continue to welcome new friendships with architects, contractors, property owners, real estate developers, and fellow lawyers throughout Illinois, while Jeremy remains open to speaking and writing on topics at the intersection of design and construction law.
