Design and construction projects often cross state lines, and during his career, Jeremy Baker has worked on matters in nearly every state in the country. With over two decades of experience, including seventeen years at two of the largest national law firms, Jeremy has built a practice that naturally follows clients wherever they design, build, or invest – always in compliance with applicable legal ethics rules.
While the firm’s lawyers are formally admitted in Illinois, Arizona, Wyoming, Minnesota, California, and Wisconsin, the rules of professional conduct allow attorneys to help with other jurisdictions in appropriate circumstances, often in association with local counsel or through pro hac vice admission to handle a particular case. For clients, that means even if a project or dispute arises outside the states where the firm’s lawyers are licensed, there may still be a path for the firm to provide meaningful support.
The firm welcomes conversations with architects, contractors, real estate developers, property owners, allied lawyers, and organizations nationwide. Jeremy remains open to speaking and writing on design and construction law wherever his experience can be of value.
