Firm Negotiates Contract for Owner’s $11.5M Hotel Renovation

We represented the property owner to negotiate an AIA Document B101-2017, Agreement Between Owner and Architect, for a substantial interior renovation of an existing hotel. The project, with a budget of about $11.5 million for hard construction costs, involves converting the property into a different, extended-stay hotel brand. The scope includes a complete renovation of guest rooms and public areas, such as a new lobby, fitness center, and meeting spaces. The project excludes several floors occupied by an existing tenant, which adds complexity. The renovation modernizes the property and enhances the guest experience with updated amenities and design.
