10,000 Sq Ft Mountain Vacation Home Contract Negotiated

Representing the architect, we negotiated an Owner-Architect Agreement, and its amendments, for a luxurious single-family home nestled into a mountainside in the Rockies. This substantial project, contracted through the owner’s family office, was expected to span over four years of construction and demanded meticulous attention to detail from our client throughout the design and construction process. The project – for which the architect’s fee was more than $3 million – encompassed over 10,000 sq ft of living space distributed across multiple levels, including a variety of premium indoor and outdoor living areas. The design and construction targeted rigorous performance standards befitting the regional climate, using high-quality, regionally appropriate materials. The architect oversaw the project and retained a full complement of specialty consultants, ranging from structural and mechanical engineers to lighting designers and technology specialists.
