We represented an architecture firm to negotiate an AIA Document B101-2017, Agreement Between Owner and Architect, for the adaptive reuse of an existing three-story building into a residential facility. The approximately 33,000 sq ft building underwent renovations, including system upgrades and site improvements. The project budget was about $5 million with an architect’s fee of $425,000, including fees for civil, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP), lighting design, and structural engineering subconsultants.
