Agreement for $12M Upgrade at Exclusive Mountain Ranch Negotiated

Representing the architect, we negotiated an Owner-Architect Agreement with counsel for the owner for the design of multiple residential buildings, totaling about 6,000 sq ft within an exclusive ranch development in the Mountain West. The project, one of several phases of ongoing work at the ranch, features a variety of spaces for leisure and entertaining, designed to complement the local architectural style. Our client’s design incorporates natural materials and traditional building methods to create structures that are both elegant and functional, blending into the surrounding landscape. The project site presents distinct environmental considerations, including seasonal groundwater and unique soil conditions, and a design that will prioritize the preservation of existing vegetation and adherence to conservation easements, which we addressed contractually. The total estimated construction cost for this phase is around $12 million.
