We represented an architecture firm to negotiate an AIA Document B101-2017, Agreement Between Owner and Architect, for the expansion of an existing facility with the project owner, a non-profit providing a range of support services for at-risk youth. The project, with a construction budget of about $9.5 million, involves a multi-story building totaling around 60,000 sq ft. Our client’s scope of services, encompassing architectural design and engineering services for mechanical, electrical, fire protection, telecommunications, and security systems, had a design fee of about $750,000.
