Architect’s Contract for Public Office Building

We advised our architecture firm client to negotiate a contract with a state government for facade repairs and upgrades to a public office building with a construction budget of $2 million. The architect’s scope of services includes architecture, structural engineering, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection (MEP/FP) engineering, from design concept and development to construction documents, bidding assistance, and construction administration, for a fee of about $200,000.
