Contract Amendment to Finish Condominium Project

Representing a condominium association, we negotiated an amendment to an AIA Document A101-2017, Agreement Between Owner and Contractor where the basis of payment is a Stipulated Sum, allowing the project to achieve completion with an amended detailed scope of revised work and payment terms, bridging a gap between the association and the general contractor, and protecting the association’s interests without increasing the original contract sum while providing a clear path forward for the general contractor and avoiding potential disputes and litigation.
