Favorable Resolution for Architect Following Design-Builder’s Termination

Our architecture firm client was left unpaid when the project owner terminated a design-builder’s contract, so we negotiated an agreement which secured payment for our client from the owner in exchange for the project drawings and a limited license to use this intellectual property. The agreement also included a full release of liability for our client, allowing it to end its project involvement and avoid entanglement in the lawsuit between the project owner and the design-builder.
