We represented an architecture firm to negotiate an AIA Document B101-2017, Agreement Between Owner and Architect, for a multi-family rental development. The project consists of ten 4-story apartment buildings totaling about 340 units, a 3-story, about 2,200 sq ft clubhouse, and about 650 parking spaces on a nearly 14-acre site. The architect’s services are limited to core and shell design for this $45 million project. Under the agreement, the architect provided schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding services, and construction administration.
