We represented a prominent architecture firm in a federal lawsuit arising from a construction dispute, successfully preventing the architect from being added as a party to the litigation. Our strategy focused on collaborating with the attorneys involved to demonstrate that our client’s role did not justify their inclusion as a defendant. Our representation included advising the firm its overall strategy and tactics, liaising with its professional liability insurer, helping with document production, defending the architect’s deposition, and preparing the principals of our architect client for trial testimony – where they ultimately appeared as a witness, not a defendant, the best outcome for our client.
