Mountain West Residence Design Contract for Successor Architect

We represented an architecture firm to negotiate an AIA Document B101-2017, Agreement Between Owner and Architect, for the design of a new single-family residence in the Mountain West region. The project involved our design professional client taking over the work from a previous architect, requiring a contract which clearly delineated our client’s responsibilities and specifically excluded any liability for the prior architect’s work.
