Owner-Architect Agreement for 5,700 sq ft Residence

We represented an architecture firm to negotiate an AIA Document B102–2017, Agreement Between Owner and Architect without a Predefined Scope of Architect’s Services, for construction administration on a new, about 5,700 sq ft home in a major metropolitan area. The architect had previously completed design services, bringing the total project fee to about $360,000. Our work clarified responsibilities given ongoing construction and addressed potential pre-agreement liabilities.
