School District Master Architect Agreement for Multiple Projects

We represented an architecture firm to negotiate an AIA Document B101-2017, Agreement Between Owner and Architect, converted into a master agreement at the owner’s counsel’s insistence, with a school district. The B101-2017, despite not being ideally suited as a master agreement, was modified to establish the terms for individual project authorizations, each defining the scope, fee, and specific conditions for a given project.
