Ski Town Single-Family Residence Contract Tailored for Owner-Builder Role

We represented an architecture firm to negotiate an AIA Document B101-2017, Agreement Between Owner and Architect, for a new 3,900 sq ft, single-family residence in a prominent western ski town with a $2.25 million project budget. The owner also served as the contractor and our negotiations tailored the agreement to exclude construction phase services from the architect’s services unless specifically requested by the owner.
