$5M Luxury Residence Contract Negotiated for General Contractor

We represented a general contractor to negotiate a two-phase AIA Document A104–2017, Abbreviated Form of Agreement Between Owner and Contractor for a roughly $5 million residential project. The initial agreement set a GMP for Phase 1 (preconstruction and long-lead items), with a modified clause providing for a later GMP Amendment to price Phase 2 (construction) after design development.
